Nová mýdla!

O víkendu jsem udělala dvě várky mýdla, a jsem celkem spokojená s výsledkem. Minulý týden mi přišel balíček dlouho očekávaných minerálních pigmentů a hlinek z Francie, takže jsem se nemohla dočkat, až nějaké barvy zkusím. Dosud jsem používala pouze barviva z koření a bylinek, letos se chystám na experimenty s oxidy, ultramaríny, hlinkami, barevnými jíly, prostě si budu hrát s barvami a vzhledem a moc se na to těším!
Když balíček dorazil, začala jsem rozbalovat a zkoumat a hned vymýšlet design mýdel - a jak to tak bývá, najednou mě nic originálního nenapadalo. Naštěstí přišel můj muž s tím, že si náš známý oblíbil chilli mýdlo, a chtěl by další, a že mám prý vyrábět. To mi udělalo velkou radost, a hned jsem měla s čím začít...

Výsledkem je nové chilli mýdlo s mlékem, s lehce pozměněnou balancovanější vůní a novým vzhledem. Jako druhou jsem vyrobila opravnou várku mýdla s podmáslím a citronově-tymiánovou vůní. Až budu mít fotky, tak popíšu mýdla, i to, jak si se mnou opět chemie pohrála a provedla klasická mýdlařská nechtěná překvapení.

This weekend I made two batches of soap and I am quite pleased with the results. Last week I received the long-awaited package of pigments and micas from France - for the first time, so I was delighted and couldn´t wait to try some colours. So far I was using only herbs and spices as colorants, this year I plan to experiment with oxides, ultramarines, micas and clays, I´m looking forward to playing with colours and with the look of my soaps! 
When the package arrived, I started to unpack and explore everything and was thinking about new soap designs - and you know how it goes, suddenly I couldn´t get to anything original. Fortunately my hubby came to tell me that a friend of ours got used to my chilli soap and would like to get some more. I was was happy to hear that and had something to begin with...

So I made a batch of new milk and chilli soap, with more balanced scent and (I hope) an improved look. The second batch is a buttermilk soap with lime-thyme scent, I just had to make this one again after my failed attempt in January. I will make the photos and then write more about the soaps and about soapmaking chemistry surprises that I got as usually.
